Where truth gets spoken gently.
Depth is not about intensity. It’s not about fixing or unearthing every feeling. It’s about showing up honestly, humbly, and with full attention.
In this layer, the pace slows. Words carry weight. Silence is welcome. And even one question can shift something lasting.
What Is Depth?
Depth is the most intimate layer of Plunge: the space for brave truths, quiet revelations, and open-hearted listening. These questions invite you to name what’s been sitting under the surface.
“What are you grieving, even if no one knows it?” (What’s something you keep close to your heart?)
“What truth have you been avoiding?”
“What’s something you wish someone would ask you?”
You don’t need to have it all figured out to answer. And you don’t need to respond with a story if someone shares with you. Sometimes just witnessing is enough.
At this level we all listen more. Less immediate back and forth, more mindful listening and acknowledging. This is a space for everyone to share more intimately and that does require patience and listening, we are getting deeper.
Why It Matters
Depth creates sacred space. It’s where real intimacy forms, not because the questions are heavy, but because they’re honest, or more than that, they harken honesty.
And when someone chooses to show you their inner world, even for a moment, it’s a kind of trust that deserves reverence.
This level helps you:
Feel seen in your full complexity, see your companions in their truth…
Build emotional closeness with a partner or friend.
Practice courageous listening.
Give yourself room to reflect, feel, and be still.
Depth doesn’t demand your pain. It honors your presence.
Use Depth when…
You want to connect without fixing or advising
You’re ready to share something personal
You’re navigating grief, transition, or uncertainty
You’re holding space for someone else’s truth
You’re journaling through a season of change
Being with someone matters more than saying the perfect thing. In Depth, a pause can be powerful.
A soft “thank you” can be enough.
This is sacred space. Come as you are.
